The House of Swallows is situated up a track away from the maddening crowd in a unspoilt very peaceful valley 1.6 km from the typically Portuguese historical town of Moncarapacho. The town hosts  excellent restaurants and a very picturesque a village square and will make your holiday break even more special. Within the village there is a local bus/train station, petrol station, doctors office, and post office. Large markets are normally held monthly and we can advise which are the best to visit depending on your tastes.
